The Democratic Coalition releases its first Biden ad for 2020
A major Democratic group just kicked off its new campaign to get voters to SMS “Biden” to 50409 to make sure they’re registered for November by text message.
The Democratic Coalition is pleased to announce the start of its general election support for the presumptive Democratic nominee Vice President Joe Biden with a combined digital, text, and advertising campaign.
The Democratic Coalition is a national SuperPAC based in Washington, D.C. Co-Founder Scott Dworkin is the senior advisor of the Democratic Coalition, an author and host of the Dworkin Report podcast. Grant Stern is an author, the producer of the Dworkin Report, and an investigative journalist who is a senior strategist for the Democratic Coalition. The Resistbot Action Fund is a social welfare organization that uses text messaging to build a national political movement and get out the vote through its app which can be found at Resist.bot
“What a real president sounds like” is a 60-second advertisement that highlights Joe Biden’s major speech about the coronavirus crisis in March, with a call to action asking voters to text ‘BIDEN’ to 50409 in order to check their voter registrations by SMS through Resistbot, and to pledge to vote for the Democratic nominee in the fall.
“If Joe was president now, he would have been prepared,” says Scott Dworkin. “That’s why we’re working hard to help elect Joe Biden to be the next President of the United States. Are you better off than you were four years ago?”
“Joe Biden is the Democratic nominee for President and every one of his primary opponents have endorsed him for the job and he’s the most qualified candidate in the race,” says Grant Stern. “America is suffering enough under Donald Trump, and the coronavirus lockdown because he cut multiple pandemic preparation and detection teams. We deserve better.”
